Directions from the Radisson to Del Mar College for the SysAdmin Boot Camp Preconference

  1. Exit hotel lot to the right
  2. Take left on Breaker
  3. Take left onto US181 towards Downtown Corpus Christi
  4. Choose the middle lane on the Harbor Bridge, stay in this lane. Upon crossing bridge, your lane will bear right and becomes the left lane of I-37N. Continue in this lane or move no more than one lane right.
  5. Exit left on to Crosstown Expressway (TX-286 S) and proceed 1.5 miles.
  6. Take Baldwin St. Exit
  7. Turn left from access road on Baldwin St. and proceed 1 mile to second traffic light.
  8. Turn right on Staples St. and proceed 1 block to traffic light.
    Note: Online map guides say turn right onto Naples. This is no longer possible.
  9. Turn right on Kosar St. (at this intersection, the street name changes from Louisiana [on east side of Staples] to Kosar [on west side of Staples]). Proceed 1 block.
  10. The William F. White, Jr. Library at Del Mar College is the white 5-story building directly in front of you. Park in the lot at Kosar and Naples directly behind the library (no parking permit required).
  11. They SysAdmin Boot Camp will take place in room 217.

Alternate Scenic Route, but some construction issues due to seawall improvements:

  1. Exit hotel lot to the right
  2. Take left on Breaker
  3. Take left onto US181 towards Downtown Corpus Christi
  4. Choose the left lane on the Harbor Bridge, stay in this lane. Upon crossing bridge, your lane will bear left and proceed into downtown.
  5. Turn right on Shoreline and proceed about 2 miles. Shoreline becomes Ocean Drive
  6. Turn right on Louisiana St. (across from Cole Park--green space with a playground & amphitheater)
  7. Proceed on Louisiana through a stop sign and traffic light. On approaching second traffic light, bear left (stay on left side of McDonalds)
  8. Continue straight. On crossing intersection, Louisiana St. becomes Kosar St. Proceed 1 block.
  9. The William F. White, Jr. Library at Del Mar College is the white 5-story building directly in front of you. Park in the lot at Kosar and Naples directly behind the library (no parking permit required).
  10. They SysAdmin Boot Camp will take place in room 217.
